Digital Downloads

At Retro Stock Photography, we offer all our images as both canvas prints and digital downloads. When purchasing a digital download, you are granted a royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license. This license allows you to use the image without paying additional royalties or licensing fees after the initial purchase.

Due to the nature of digital products, we cannot offer refunds once a digital download has been completed. We only deal with vintage images which were taken on film, which by its very nature may be subject to small dust spots or other minor imperfections. Please review the preview image before purchasing.

What You Can Do:

1. Multiple Uses: You can use the same image across multiple projects without incurring additional fees, making it a versatile asset for your creative needs.
2. Wide Range of Projects: Our images are suitable for personal, commercial, or editorial purposes. Use the image in a variety of formats such as:
   • Advertising
   • Blog posts
   • Websites and social media
   • Annual reports
   • Editorial content
   • Design elements
   • Book covers
   • Product packaging
   • Presentations
   • And more…
3. Create Prints: You may print the image for personal use or for your business. However, reselling printed versions of the image is not allowed unless you have purchased a Resale License.
4. Modify the Image: Feel free to crop, adjust colors, overlay text, or make other alterations to suit your needs. You have creative control to customize the image for your projects.
5. Cross-Platform Use: The image can be used across both digital and physical platforms, including websites, eBooks, advertisements, presentations, and more.

What You Cannot Do:

1. Resell or Redistribute the Image: You cannot resell, license, or redistribute the image in any form, whether physical or digital, unless you have purchased the appropriate license.
2. Use in Unlawful or Offensive Ways: The image cannot be used for illegal activities or in a manner that could be considered harmful, defamatory, or offensive. This includes but is not limited to:
   • Promoting hate speech, violence, or pornography
   • Any content that violates laws or ethical standards
3. Use in Trademarks or Logos: The image cannot be used as part of a trademark, logo, or any branding material in a way that could cause confusion with a business identity.

Image Sizes & Pricing:

Small – $15
800 pixels on the longest side. Ideal for use in social media, email campaigns, blogs, eBooks, or online magazines. It is also suitable for small prints (up to 6″ x 4″).

Medium – $30
1600 pixels on the longest side. Great for applications requiring higher image quality such as PowerPoint or Keynote presentations, postcards, flyers, adverts, and product packaging. Also a good size for YouTube thumbnails and prints up to 18″ x 12″.

Original – $50
Our original full-size image, typically ranging from 3000 to 4000 pixels on the longest side. Ideal for large prints, ads, billboards, or for large images in books and magazines. Suitable for prints up to 36″ x 24″.

Resale License – $350
With this license, you receive the original full-size image and the right to resell the image in physical form only. This includes products like prints, posters, mugs, calendars, t-shirts, etc. This license does not allow you to resell the image digitally.

Regardless of the license you acquire, the copyright and ownership of the image remains with Retro Stock Photography. You are purchasing the right to use the image under the terms of the license. A royalty-free license means the image can be used by others, so the image is not exclusive to you. You cannot claim exclusive rights to it.
